Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. and ICL Co., Ltd. have jointly developed new products using Teijin Group's polyester nanofiber "Nanofront" for lifestyle goods to be sold at all Afternoon Tea LIVING stores. Sales will begin on May 13th.

"Nanofront" is the world's first ultra-fine polyester nanofiber with a diameter of 700 nanometers. Nanofront is a high-tech material that overcomes the challenges of mass-producing nanofibers with consistent quality by using ultra-fine technology to create a new sea-island composite yarn. Its applications range from functional apparel that prioritizes quick-drying and softness, to skincare products that require moisture absorption and diffusion, antibacterial filters, and precision polishing cloths.

The jointly developed products, which will be sold at all 102 Afternoon Tea LIVING stores, include two types of cooling goods that use "Nanofront" in the skin-facing portion of the gel pocket that holds the cooling gel (ice pack), and skincare products that utilize "Nanofront"'s excellent adsorption and fineness to remove sebum and other impurities from pores. The lineup includes five cooling products such as the "Eye Mask with Cool Gel" (1,260 yen), "Gel Cooler" (1,890 yen), and "Neck Gel Cooler" (1,575 yen), and three skin care products such as the "Oil Blotting Sheet" (1,260 yen) and "Pore-Clearing Facial Washing Mitt" (1,050 yen), for a total of eight products.
