Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' Fall/Winter 2024 women's collection embeds fragments of history into fashion, exploring ideas about beauty and a contemporary world shaped by memory. Romance lies alongside the past. Knowledge of history not only elucidates the past, but also defines the present. Clothes interspersed with elements from various eras offer new perspectives. The past is a valuable tool for learning. This collection looks back to the past in order to create something new. Rather than rationally examining the past, it explores how our hearts are moved by ideals of beauty that remain relevant today.
This time, photographer Hidenobu Kasahara and hair artist Chiharu Yada will present a story expressing the "PRADA x New era wave" from Prada's Fall/Winter 2024 women's collection, based on the theme of "INSTINCTIVE ROMANCE," a romance that coexists with the present and the past.
