ECCO, the Danish premium footwear brand, will host a pop-up event celebrating the Japanese debut of ECCO.Kollective at the women's shoe promotion on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The event will run for two weeks from August 7th to 20th, 2024.

Established in 2022, ECCO.Kollective is a new collection that combines innovative leather technology with traditional craftsmanship to offer footwear, accessories, and garments. Each season, the brand collaborates with a different guest designer, constantly incorporating new perspectives and creativity.

To commemorate their first arrival in Japan, ECCO plans to exhibit collections by three renowned designers, and this pop-up event will feature many items appearing in the Japanese market for the first time.

Created by sisters Laura and Dianna Fanning, the London brand's womenswear directors, Kiko Kostadinov's collections are characterized by a dialogue between the ancient and the future. Their work reflects the leather innovation and precision they observed in ECCO's tanneries. Of particular note are the Jemison shoes, with their curvaceous lines and space-age shapes. The shoes combine soft, enveloping design with practical utility.

Peter Do's designs focus on unisex pieces. The brand's first ever "Hybrid" sneakers are particularly noteworthy as they are versatile shoes that can be worn throughout the day. This season, new technology mimics the folds and wrinkles in leather, adding texture and interesting details. Ballerinas and loafers will also be added to the Hybrid line.
