Prada's Spring/Summer 2026 women's fashion show was held in Milan. The theme was "BODY OF COMPOSITION." Responding to the overflowing currents of contemporary culture, Prada subjected its garments to processes of "extraction" and "filtration," presenting a new elegance that combines unexpectedness with harmony.

Elegance Born from the Unexpected
This season's collection explores a new balance by deconstructing and reconstructing existing codes such as dresses and uniforms. By placing evening dresses and uniforms on the same level, the brand reinvents the archetypes of femininity. Unconventional silhouettes and flowing forms embrace the body, rethinking the very meaning of clothing.

Items like dangling skirts and shapeless bra tops reexamine the relationship between body and clothing. Unconstrained by classic categories, each piece responds to the current times through free layering and combination.

A Fundamental Question of Clothing
Under the joint creative direction of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the collection reexamines the fundamental role of clothing. Light and fluid forms, while possessing decorative qualities, are imbued with a reality that can be connected to everyday wear, blurring the boundaries between fashion and lifestyle. These pieces address universal questions such as "What is clothing?" and "How is femininity defined?", highlighting Prada's constantly challenging approach to intellectual fashion.

Prada's Contemporary Message
The theme "BODY OF COMPOSITION" suggests that rather than simply juxtaposing different elements, new meanings are created through extraction and combination. The result is a fashion expression that combines tension and freedom that cannot be fully described by harmony alone. For Spring/Summer 2026, Prada deconstructed existing codes to create a "new elegance" that is in line with the times. It reexamines the cultural significance inherent in the act of wearing clothes and presents a creative space open to the future.
