någonstans, the brand headed by creative director Mizuki Ueda, offers clothes that make you want to go "somewhere" that is different from your everyday life. As a new initiative with a focus on sustainability, någonstans will be releasing the "One-of-a-kind Reproduced Collection" on July 22, 2020.
This project began with the director's desire to preserve some of the products that had barely been seen by customers after stores were temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to give them a new lease of life by adding new designs and delivering them to customers, without letting them go to waste.
The designer team has hand-dyed approximately 100 pieces of clothing, including tops and bottoms, and the product tags have also been painted with the same dye. Because they are hand-dyed, each product is a special one-of-a-kind collection.
The design focuses on soft, pale pastel shades, combined with blue, orange, green and other colours that the designer intuitively felt looked good. We trial and errored to create a pale atmosphere, making repeated adjustments to the colours until we found just the right colour.
As for care instructions, the item is washable as it has been treated to prevent color fading. As it is a colored item, we recommend washing it separately.
The product will be available at någonstans stores from July 22, 2020, and on the någonstans official website from noon on August 12, 2020. The items and colors available may vary by store, so please contact your local store for details.
