The newly released "rhrn2" was designed to give the impression of walking on clouds in socks, in order to express the inherent rebound and floating feeling of the material "MIZUNO ENERZY". The upper part was created by bringing together the technologies of each department at Mizuno to see how close it could get to a real sock. Using machinery similar to that used to make socks, the double-layered material makes the socks more durable than actual socks, while maintaining the same sock structure and improving breathability.


The apparel is made of a stretchy, water-repellent fabric used by top athletes in international competitions. This set (two tops and one pair of shorts) features an oversized silhouette with a street-style feel. The top features a three-dimensional cut that connects from the chest to the sleeves to accommodate shoulder movement and silhouette, and laser-cut dots under the arms enhance breathability. The hem has a slit for easy wearing like a shirt. The long sleeves have a stowed hood, and the back collar of the short sleeves is ribbed for added stretch. The shorts have a drawstring waist for size adjustment.

In addition, the products will be available for pre-sale on August 7th at the MIZUNO CONCEPT STORE on the 2nd floor of Laforet Harajuku and at Dover Street Market Ginza.
