A new shopping center, "Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Center Terrace Market" (Tamagawa 1-chome, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo), will open in the large-scale Futako Tamagawa Rise complex adjacent to Futako Tamagawa Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line. The first phase will open on April 24th, and the second phase will open on May 3rd. Located almost in the center of Futako Tamagawa Rise, the new shopping center is an approximately 21,000-square-meter open mall spanning five floors above ground and one basement floor. Along the pedestrian walkway connecting Futako Tamagawa Station and Futako Tamagawa Park, Terrace Market will house 18 stores, including six restaurants and cafes, seven retail stores, and five service stores, in addition to office facilities and a hotel. Among the stores opening on April 24th, the first Japanese store of "Mallorca," a gourmet store from Madrid, Spain, which has been awarded a purveyor to the royal family, attracted much attention. As the name "delicatessen" suggests, the store offers recommended items such as prepared dishes, cakes, Spanish-style sandwiches, and freshly baked bread, all handmade in the store's kitchen. This marks the first time that the popular cinnamon roll specialty cafe "Cinnabon/Seattle's Best Coffee" has opened in the shopping center. Other retail options include the new store "Gardens Marche," furniture and interior goods retailers "ACTUS" and "ZARA HOME," and the first shopping center location of EN ROUTE, a brand run by United Arrows. Also opening on May 3rd is "Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics," a lifestyle-focused electronics store run by Culture Convenience Club. Tenants include Danish audiovisual brand BANG & OLUFSEN, electric bicycle manufacturer Motovelo, Italian furniture store ARFLEX, and botanical shop SOLSO HOME, as well as cafe GOOD MEALS SHOP, which has two locations in Shibuya.
This shopping center, located adjacent to offices and apartment complexes as part of an urban development project, is notable for its large number of shops and facilities that are closely connected to people's lives and propose new lifestyles, including the area's first cinema complex, 109 Cinemas Futako Tamagawa, and a fitness club. Furthermore, iTSCOM STUDIO & HALL, a studio operated by iTSCOM, is scheduled to broadcast television and online, making it a promising information hub for the region. Currently, the facility's approximately 9,000 office workers and local residents are expected to be the main customers, but in addition, Rakuten, which will open its second Rakuten Cafe in the facility after Shibuya, is planning to relocate its headquarters to the same location, so the number of potential users is expected to increase even further.
*Business hours and holidays vary by facility and store.
