Spanish women's brand SYBILLA will be holding an event called "FREEDOM" selection by SYBILLA at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku from May 13th to 21st. Based on the concept of Isetan's concurrent "Global Green Campaign," the event will focus on the environmental movements and eco-friendly lifestyles that SYBILLA has been promoting on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The venue will mainly feature items such as dresses from CLASS, an environmentally friendly Italian textile brand. All of the items are made from environmentally friendly, eco-friendly materials such as hemp, which is cool and comfortable to wear in the summer, jersey made from a circular knit of soft milk fiber and highly absorbent cotton, and viscose. Other items being released exclusively at Isetan include a summer dress in collaboration with Daniel Arfamoras, a tie-dye artist from Mallorca who is supported by Sybilla, and a double-brand bag in collaboration with Barcelona-born designer Isacc Reina. Other Spanish brands supported by Sybilla will also be releasing limited-edition items, including wooden sunglasses from Palens, which are handmade from natural Barcelona wood, and stone-shaped cushions from Codols, which are handmade from wool felt in Catalonia. Sybilla established the Fabric for Freedom Foundation to support handicraft and textile-related work and projects. The foundation aims to create products with beautiful backstories, such as using environmentally friendly organic materials.
