When we asked Epoca's chief designer about the lace, he replied, "It's called chemical lace, and while it has a different feel from knitted lace, it's the perfect lace for this geometric expression." Chemical lace is a traditional lace technique dating back to the late 19th century, where only the embroidered parts remain unaffected by chemicals. Epoca is renowned for its use of lace, so it goes without saying that the quality of the work is exceptional. The limited edition includes five items: a dress, pullover top, tight skirt, polo shirt, and culottes skirt. The two-tone black and white color scheme evokes the image of an intelligent woman who exudes both coolness and elegance. The fit and flare dress features chemical lace in various sizes, and the intricate lining, which alternates between black and white in different parts, creates an even more graphic effect.
