GRANDIR, a bakery based in Kyoto that has been loved for its traditional artisanal flavor for over 30 years, has launched "Kyo," a premium bread specialty store. "Kyoto" bread, baked with care by artisans, will add a soft and gentle touch to your dining table.
What is "Kyoto Bread"?
- Made with a unique blend of Hokkaido wheat. Made using the Yudane method, it is chewy and moist.
- Made with fresh cream, honey, and butter, it has a subtle sweetness and melts in your mouth like silk.
- Secret ingredients include salt koji and mascarpone cheese. Baked to be rich and flavorful.
Mascarpone and Shio Koji
One of the key flavor ingredients is mascarpone. A familiar ingredient that has been used for many years at GRANDIR, the original Kyoto bread maker, this mellow cheese goes perfectly with bread. It has a rich flavor that you will never tire of. The other ingredient is aged shio koji. Its unique richness and umami bring out the beauty of the dough and ingredients to the fullest.
