On July 28, 2020, adidas Japan Co., Ltd. will open the "adidas Brand Center RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK," a cutting-edge concept store first in Japan, on the first and second floors of MIYASHITA PARK South, 6-20-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

The store will be the largest in Japan(*1) and will feature an area dedicated to sustainability-conscious products and a noren-style entrance banner. In collaboration with Japanese artists, the store design will express Miyashita Park, where genders, generations, and nationalities come together and mingle. Additionally, 21 digital screens will be installed throughout the store, providing cutting-edge, frequently updated communication.
The new store, which will open in the redeveloped Miyashita Park, will express "Tokyo" throughout the store. The flagship store, which opened on London's Oxford Street in the fall of 2019, was the first to feature a city theme in both store design and product lineup. In addition, just like the London flagship store, the store design is also conscious of being sustainable. In the sustainability area set up on the first floor, recycled polyester and fabrics are used wherever possible for both fixtures and decorations.

■Store features
1) Entrance banner
*Image is for illustrative purposes only
Noren-style entrance banners featuring original art by Japanese artist and one-stroke painter NANDE (Minamide Naoyuki) have been installed at the first and second floor entrances to welcome guests from all over the world. The basic piece was painted in a single stroke.
A single, unbroken line depicts everything in the universe, and the whole form a circular earth. Painted with a single stroke, it expresses how everything in the universe, including people and nature, society and the global environment, all influence and are connected. By combining this single-stroke drawing with motifs symbolizing Tokyo and sports, as well as the Adidas logo, the aim was to create a design that is fitting as a new gateway to Shibuya, Tokyo.
2) Sustainability Area (first time in Japan)
※Image is for illustrative purposes only
The Sustainability Area, decorated by Shinpei Kashiwabara, representative of the Japanese creative and artist unit RON TOPAZ Creative Lab, and artist Chikako Kai, raises issues about plastic in Tokyo Bay and Japan under the message "END PLASTIC WASTE," which Adidas is working on.
The area will feature PARLEY ULTRABOOST footwear and PRIMEBLUE apparel made from PARLEY OCEAN PLASTIC, which is made from upcycled plastic waste collected from remote beaches and coastal areas.
3) Tokyo Shop (First appearance in Japan)

As the name suggests, this corner, characterized by the TKY neon sign, brings together all Adidas T-shirts designed with a Tokyo theme. There will also be a wide selection of Adidas T-shirts designed by Japanese artists, as well as T-shirts exclusive to the store.
4) Football ID (first appearance in Japan)

This area is full of elements to inspire football lovers, such as "Crest," a metallic frame displaying half-body mannequins in the shape of national team emblems, and "Education Tools," which stylishly explain the types and features of football cleats.
5) Kids' Area (the largest in Japan within a directly operated store)
*Image is for illustrative purposes only
At adidas Brand Center RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK, where various generations intersect, we have set up an area where athletes who will lead the future can also enjoy shopping. This is one of the more colorful spaces within the store, and is also equipped with a rest area.
6) Digital Footwear Wall (first appearance in Japan)
