KURKKU Inc. has launched the "Sustainable Fashion Circle," and for its first project, it has collaborated with five designers and artists - ANREALAGE, WALNUT, KOM_I (Wednesday Campanella), minä perhonen, and Morimoto Chie (goen°) - to create T-shirts made from sustainable materials (pre-organic cotton) that support Indian farmers. These will be sold in-store at Isetan Shinjuku, Shibuya PARCO, and NANO UNIVERSE, as well as online. 5% of sales will be donated to activities supporting single parents and children suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About SUSTAINABLE FASHION CIRCLE
It was launched as a movement to spread the value that "sustainable is fashionable," with retailers, fashion designers, and creators joining forces. Its goal is to continuously communicate social issues and attitudes through sustainable products, gaining consumer awareness and empathy.

The "circle" in Sustainable Fashion Circle refers to a group of people. If a sustainable attitude is one that uses imagination and consideration for various positions and perspectives, then the "circle" also symbolizes the harmony of diverse people and ideas. By bringing together people involved in fashion and creation to communicate what is happening in the world today and their commitment to making the world a better place, many consumers will empathize, learn about the issues, and be inspired to get involved and take action. We are launching the "Sustainable Fashion Circle" as a "circle" activity to spread the message that this attitude has become an important element of fashion.

■Sustainable Points

1) T-shirt Material = Pre-Organic Cotton
The "Pre-Organic Cotton Program" is a program that Crook is working on in collaboration with Itochu Corporation in India to support cotton farmers suffering from the damage caused by pesticides in their transition to organic cultivation. Cotton producers face health problems, soil contamination, and debt issues due to the use of pesticides and other agricultural chemicals. The Pre-Organic Cotton Program helps farmers overcome these challenges by purchasing cotton during the transition period, providing training in organic farming methods, and supporting organic certification.
