Levi's has released the new 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter collection for its Levi's COMMUTER cycling apparel collection. The lineup includes seven tops and nine bottoms, a total of 16 items, more than the previous season. Items include a hooded trucker jacket (16,800 yen) made with stain-resistant "Nanosphere" functional material, skinny pants (10,500 yen) made with water-repellent and antibacterial "Sanitized Technology" fabric and double-reinforced inseams to prevent saddle chafing, and a graphic T-shirt (3,675 yen) made with moisture-wicking and quick-drying "Trans-Dry Technology" jersey material. The collection offers a total style package with designs that are perfect not only for cycling but also for various aspects of urban life.
This line offers items that combine functionality and sophisticated design for any cycling occasion. It was jointly developed by Levi's design team and members of the cycling community in Denver, Colorado, a mecca for American cyclists. It was first released in the US in 2011, and sales began worldwide the following year in 2012.
