Aug 10, 2013

BURNER will open its third directly managed store on the 5th of next month on the 5th of the Lumine Est building in Shinjuku (3-38-1 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), following its flagship stores in Harajuku and Jingumae, and its Fukuoka store. To coincide with the opening, the brand has produced collaboration items with four domestic brands, which will be available in September and October. On the opening day, items from FACTOTUM and Pledge will be available. FACTOTUM will release a denim shirt (22,050 yen). Previously only available as a Western-style shirt, this one has been redesigned into a regular-collar shirt by FACTOTUM designer Koji Udou. Pledge, currently on hiatus, is reissuing a popular item from its past archives. It will release a collaboration T-shirt (7,140 yen) featuring an illustration by Kurt Cobain. Collaboration items with TMT and STIFF are planned for October.
