Barneys New York Shinjuku (3-18-5 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) will renovate its men's floors on the 6th to 8th floors on September 10th.
The interior will feature mirror-finished stainless steel fixtures and limestone floors, with the remodeling theme being "modern," "clean," "chic," and "cool." The formal wear floor on the 6th floor will offer business wear and casual wear for the weekend, including brands like BELVEST, ISAIA, and JACOB COHEN. There will be approximately 600 pairs of pants from a variety of brands.
The designer collection floor on the 7th floor will offer clothing and accessories from collection brands such as Alexander MacQueen and ARIES VAN NOTEN, as well as emerging brands. The contemporary casual floor on the 8th floor offers a mix of fashion and streetwear, with a selection of brands such as ACNE, KENZO, and SACAI.
This year, the store is undergoing its first major renovation since opening in 1990. In March of this year, the women's floors, from the basement to the 4th floor, were renovated, and a personal shopping service space was opened on the 9th and 10th floors.
"Since the renovation, the number of customers has increased, with monthly increases of double digits compared to last year. We have received positive feedback from customers in their 40s who like fashion, which is Barneys' specialty," said a PR representative for the store.
