Epson will release a limited-edition "King Diver"* reproduction model on July 2, 2020, which is a modern-day reproduction of the original 1965 "WEEKLY AUTO ORIENT KING DIVER" model announced on January 30, 2020. The day of the week indicator is in English.
*This is not a diver's watch that complies with ISO standards.

Since the first model was released in 1965, the "King Diver" is a masterpiece that has built the lineage of Orient divers. Like the model announced on January 30, 2020, this limited edition model retains the original atmosphere by faithfully reproducing the design elements such as the "WEEKLY AUTO ORIENT KING DIVER" logo, arrow hands, bar indexes, separate crown for the interior rotating ring, and case back adorned with the distinctive diver icon. However, improvements have been made in various areas, including a structure that strengthens water resistance to 20 bar and an upgraded solid metal band. The only difference from the previous model is that the day of the week display at 6 o'clock has been changed from kanji to English. Three models will be released: a black dial (limited to 1,500 pieces in Japan), a red dial (limited to 500 pieces in Japan), and a green dial (limited to 700 pieces in Japan).
