On June 12th, Yohji Yamamoto's brand, Ground Y, will release a collaboration T-shirt (12,000 yen) with WORLD HAPPINESS, a summer festival curated by musician Yukihiro Takahashi. WORLD HAPPINESS 2015 is an urban festival that began in 2008 and takes place at the lush Yumenoshima Island. It's known for featuring main visuals from famous artists such as manga artists Osamu Tezuka and Fujio Akatsuka, musician Haruomi Hosono, and artist Tadanori Yokoo. For this year's festival, which will be held on August 23rd, Yohji Yamamoto created a visual featuring his beloved dog, Rin, front and center. The T-shirt, based on the main visual, is available in three sizes and two designs. It will be sold in limited quantities at the concept shop Ground Y.
