The main visual for WORLD HAPPINESS 2015, a summer festival to be held at Tokyo's Yumenoshima Park Athletics Stadium on August 23rd, has been released. It has been revealed that designer Yohji Yamamoto was in charge of this year's visual.

WORLD HAPPINESS, which has been held since 2008, is a music festival curated by Yukihiro Takahashi. While illustrations have always been used for the main visual, this time it will be a photograph for the first time. The visual was created by fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. A fashion industry heavyweight with many fans worldwide, he continues to maintain a challenging attitude, and he chose a photo of his beloved dog. The adorable yet stylish piece captures the worldview of "WORLD HAPPINESS" and "music" in the dog's dignified gaze.

Yohji Yamamoto is also known as a music lover, having released a solo album. Curator Yukihiro Takahashi has been a friend of his for 40 years, so Takahashi readily agreed to his request, making it a reality.

So far, eight acts have been announced as performers for the festival: METAFIVE, TRICERATOPS, Controversial Spark, Maki Nomiya with Kaji Hideki, Kinniku Shoujo Tai, Scha Dara Parr, Maaya Sakamoto, and SCANDAL, with more artists to be added in the future.
