British brand BLAAK will open its first Japanese pop-up shop at HEAD PORTER's concept shop, -atelier- Head Porter, from June 13th to July 5th.
Based in London, BLAAK was founded in 1998 by Aaron Sharif and Sachiko Okada. While highly acclaimed for its traditional British tailoring and exceptional cutting techniques, in recent years, the brand has focused on silhouettes that break with traditional styles. The brand also collaborates with a wide range of other brands.
The shop will feature a denim and jeans collection by Aaron Sharif. Fashion designer Aaron Sharif is also well-versed in crystal healing, astrology, numerology, and Reiki, and the collection combines his knowledge and experience with fashion. The theme of the collection, which was created after two years of planning and was inspired by the desire to incorporate crystal healing, which uses the colors and light frequencies of crystals, into fashion, is "balance." Items used throughout the collection include lapis lazuli studs, which are said to balance the body's electromagnetic (aura) field, and titanium matrices, which are said to protect energy and contain hidden power.
