Tsumugi, a Japanese cafe operated by Pronto Corporation, will begin selling a new summer menu item, "Watermelon Red Fuji Shaved Ice," from June 24th.

"Watermelon Red Fuji Shaved Ice" is made from fluffy shaved watermelon ice and topped with fresh cream and watermelon pulp sherbet. It is inspired by the image of Mount Fuji illuminated by the morning sun, or "Red Fuji." "Red Fuji" is a summer symbol that has long been the subject of many artists' artworks due to its beauty and auspiciousness. This time, we have depicted it using the summer fruit, watermelon. Other items to enjoy include cold tea, perfect for this season, and our signature shaved ice, made with finely shaved, high-purity ice made from natural water from the Central Alps, resulting in fluffy, generous servings.
Going forward, Tsumugi will continue to expand nationwide as a cafe offering a wide variety of drinks, Japanese sweets, and Japanese food, with an eye toward creating a "soothing space" that resonates with women.
With the opening of the Atre Takeshiba store on June 17th, Tsumugi now has 10 stores.
