DIESEL LIVING is currently releasing its first tableware collection. The debut collection, created in collaboration with the renowned Italian interior brand, Seletti, features cutlery and glasses with a nut and bolt motif. The unique tableware, bursting with DIESEL's signature rock spirit, has been well-received.
Following last year's collaboration with Seletti, the brand unveiled its second collaboration at Milan Salone. This time, the motif is "space." A vase resembling an astronaut is featured. Other playful and impactful products, including a rocket-shaped candle holder, salt and pepper mills, and realistic planet plates, are joining the 2015 lineup.
The exhibition space was meticulously designed, projecting Diesel's key elements into lifestyle and space. The interior décor embodied the brand's four core elements: rock, military, denim, and pop. The aforementioned "Cosmic" tableware also plays a part in embellishing the brand's unique aesthetic.
What's striking about the Diesel Living collection as a whole is its color palette, evoking the indigo of denim, one of its four major elements. Adding space-themed tableware to the mix transforms the entire room into a night sky. Other new pieces include washed-look gradation flooring and a uniquely balanced chair featuring natural-feeling fabric cushions and industrial punched metal and steel legs. The fashionable mix of different materials and vintage processing techniques applied to the interiors are also likely contributing to the collection's unique presence.
In addition to Seletti, Diesel Living collaborates with leading Italian interior manufacturers, including lighting manufacturer Foscarini, furniture manufacturer Moroso, and flooring manufacturer Berti, to create interior products. Another feature of the brand is that by partnering with trusted manufacturers, it is able to develop collections that guarantee both design and high quality.
Diesel Living items are on sale at major DIESEL STORE stores nationwide and the Diesel online store.
