
"THE CONER @ ISETAN," which opened at Isetan Salone in April this year, will feature "classic" items selected by "THE" from five perspectives: shape, history, function, materials, and price.
From the 10th to the 23rd, the corner will offer an expanded selection of high-quality gift items, which "THE" creative director Manabu Mizuno, one of the core members of "THE," describes as "classic and top-notch items."
New items selected by "THE" during this period include Steiff teddy bears, Bose's top-of-the-line around-ear headphones, and Montblank's Meisterstück 149 fountain pen.
From the 10th, original gift bags made from the same fabric as "THE SHIRTS," "THE"'s original Oxford shirts, will also be available. This is the realization of a desire to offer special packaging for customers who give gifts, something that had been in mind since before the store opened.
"THE" is an initiative by creative director/good design company representative Mizuno Manabu, Nakagawa Jun, the 13th generation president and CEO of Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten Co., Ltd., and product designer/PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER representative Suzuki Keita. Their goal is to create something that can be called "this is it" = THE, to set the standard for all products and raise the bar for classics.
