From June 10th to 23rd, Isetan Shinjuku will open a pop-up shop on the 5th floor of the main building, Center Park/The Stage #5, showcasing interiors reflecting the worldview of Paola Navone, art director of Italian furniture brand GERVASONI.
Together with lifestyle magazine Modern Living, the store is proposing a luxurious yet slow-paced summer resort lifestyle under the theme "Add resort style to your life!" The shop will feature interiors and miscellaneous goods inspired by Point Yamu by COMO, a luxury resort hotel in Phuket, Thailand, which was directed by Paola Navone. The store will be selling the "GHOST 05 SP" (approximately 65cm wide x 70cm deep x 70cm high / 40cm high to seat / 360,000 yen), a "Gervasoni" chair made with original textiles inspired by the nature of Phuket. The store will also be selling the "BRICK247" side table (approximately 110cm wide x 40cm deep x 50cm high / 215,000 to 309,000 yen *Prices vary depending on the material combination). The store will also be selling the "Point Yam by Como x Paola Navone" cushion (approximately 55cm x 55cm / 10,000 yen), for which the designer was involved in everything from the fabric to the design. Glasses (from 3,500 yen) and flower vases (6,500 yen) actually used in the hotel will also be on sale.
During the event, there will be a "Practical Interior Ideas Lecture" by Modern Living editor-in-chief Shimoda Yuka (June 13th from 2pm, capacity 15 people), as well as a talk between Shimoda and mi-mollet editor-in-chief Okusa Naoko on the theme of "Resort-style clothing and lifestyle" (June 20th from 2pm, capacity 15 people). Both events require reservations, and will be accepted by phone (Isetan Shinjuku store main number: 03-3352-1111) on a first-come, first-served basis from 11am on June 11th.
