TodaysArt, the cutting-edge art festival currently held in The Hague, Netherlands, will be held again this year as "TodaysArt.JP TOKYO 2015" from September 5th to 13th in Tennozu Isle, Tokyo.
Now in its 11th year, TodaysArt is one of the world's leading art festivals, bringing together renowned artists from around the world. It features programs and exhibitions throughout the city, spanning a wide range of genres from visual and performing arts to design, architecture, cutting-edge technology, and experiential interactive art. A diverse range of artists, from local to internationally renowned, participate.
Last year, "TodaysArt.JP edition Zero," a pilot event held in Tokyo as a Japanese launch, attracted 8,000 visitors over three days and garnered attention from both domestic and international media.
This year's venue, the first full-scale event, will be Tennozu Isle, located in Tokyo's unique waterfront environment, just like last year. The diverse spaces of Tennozu Isle, including large warehouse spaces such as those associated with Warehouse Terrada and newly developed spaces along the canal, will be arranged to display installations by cutting-edge artists from Japan and abroad, interactive art works including works not yet shown in Japan, talks by a variety of guests, symposiums, and even live performances on the weekend.
