The Park Hotel Tokyo in Shiodome, Tokyo, will host the art event "Park Night 2015" on March 21st. The 25th floor art lounge will be decorated with a variety of contemporary art pieces. Yamashita Takuya, known for his large-scale installations featuring giant mascots and other motifs, will exhibit "Child of TALION," a three-meter-long sculpture that carves into the gallery wall. There will also be a special exhibition by Yakushimaru Etsuko, whose installation at the Mori Art Museum's "LOVE" exhibition recently garnered attention. Along with these works, a video work by Taro Izumi, a contemporary art student and filmmaker, will be projected onto the atrium wall of the venue. Rarely seen early works will be projected, providing a rare opportunity to learn about the origins of his creative work. Three live performances will also be held during the event. The opening act will be Toshiya Tsunoda, who will depict the individuality of space and the passage of time through vibrational phenomena collected through field recordings. This will be followed by the drone sounds of the Nukeme Band guitar, a slime synthesizer, and glitches created by toys. The one-night-only art night will conclude with a performance by Khoomei singer Fuyuki Yamakawa, who expresses the life processes within his own body through sound and light.

Last year's art event was so successful that admission was restricted. This year, the liqueur Campari was partnered to create an evening that will delight not only the eyes and ears, but also the palate. Four artists—Yakushimaru Etsuko, Ogino Ryosuke, Miyagi Futoshi, and Mori Yuko—will collaborate with hotel bartender Suzuki Takayuki to create original cocktails, allowing visitors to fully experience the contemporary art scene.
