The apparel collection of DIM MAK, the music label created by Grammy-nominated world-renowned music producer and DJ Steve Aoki, has begun full-scale domestic expansion. The brand recently released a special video to coincide with this launch.
DIM MAK is a music label founded by Steve Aoki in 1996. To date, it has released nearly 500 singles and albums, launching artists such as Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, and Klaxons, and helping them become popular bands. Currently, with Steve Aoki at the helm, the label is expanding its activities to include events, publishing, and fashion.
For its first collection, Steve Aoki himself serves as creative director, pursuing innovative designs that fuse music and clothing under the theme of "THE FUTURE." A high-end style was expressed with concepts such as "DESIGNE BY LA" and "MADE BY JAPAN." Targeting people in their 20s and 30s, the collection features items based on a black and white theme.
In addition, to commemorate the full launch of the apparel collection in Japan, a special video featuring installation model Shaun Ross, who also appeared at the event in April where the collection was unveiled, has been released on YouTube.
