Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., the operator of MUJI, opened the "MUJI Rakuten Ichiba Online Shop" on Rakuten Ichiba, an internet shopping mall operated by Rakuten, Inc., on June 1, 2020, and has begun selling approximately 200 items, including clothing.

■To deliver basic daily items to as many people as possible
MUJI offers basic daily items at affordable prices by eliminating unnecessary packaging and processes. Until now, in order to communicate the origins and meaning of our products and the background of their materials, we have mainly sold our products through MUJI stores and the MUJI online store*. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, MUJI stores are continuing to operate on a shortened schedule, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. By opening a store on Rakuten Ichiba, one of Japan's largest internet shopping malls, we aim to further improve convenience.
MUJI aims to be a valuable presence in daily life and society by providing as many customers as possible with what is truly necessary at the right quality and price. By starting sales on Rakuten Ichiba, we hope to meet new people who share our passion for MUJI, and aim to be of service to as many people as possible.
