Green Bean to Bar Chocolate releases limited edition Valentine's Day chocolates that express the sweet and sour romance

Jan 12, 2017

Green Bean to Bar Chocolate will release its Valentine's Day limited edition collection, "VALENTAINE'S BERRY LOVE," on January 21st.

The collection is based on the theme of "love stories with a hidden sweet and sour taste," and features bars and bonbons made with juicy, fruity, and sour cocoa beans, each expressing the various feelings and relationships woven into hearts. They will be sold in sweet, berry-colored packaging made from Japanese paper.

The "BERRY LOVE / chocolate bar" (1,800 yen) is made with Tanzanian cocoa beans, which are juicy and fruity and sour. It is topped with freeze-dried raspberries and caramelized cocoa nibs. "BERRY LOVE/ BONBON CHCOLAT" (4 pieces/1,800 yen, 9 pieces/4,050 yen) uses bonbon chocolates that represent the heartbeat of a person's heart, expressing the process from meeting to love coming to fruition. The box contains a blue bonbon that represents the heartbeat of meeting, a square chocolate that represents the negotiations leading up to the start of love, and a red bonbon that represents the heartbeat from meeting to falling in love and coming to fruition.
