For its Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show, held on September 22nd in front of more than 1,000 guests at Milan's Allianz MiCo conference center, BOSS reimagined its heritage through a radically contemporary lens.

The collection's theme, "CorpCore," transformed the show venue into "BOSS Techtopia," an oasis of tranquility and ergonomic design, a ephemeral workspace where physical and mental needs seamlessly blend. Combining groundbreaking technologies like robotics with lush green spaces, BOSS Techtopia offered a serene atmosphere and a positive, inspiring outlook on the future.

It was at the intersection of humanity and technology that guests met Sophia, the AI robot and centrepiece of BOSS Techtopia. Developed by Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics, Sophia represents the world's cutting edge in robotics. The original citizen robot greeted guests at the entrance to the BOSS fashion show, interacting with them using her ability to recognise facial and hand gestures. Sophia then sat at a desk in the front row of the show, watching the models walk down the runway.

Following a surreal welcome from Sophia, guests entered BOSS Techtopia through a tunnel greeted by life-size holograms in multiple languages, before reaching a mesmerizing lobby filled with screens. From there, guests accessed a striking runway space that combined traditional office furnishings with futuristic and exciting high-tech elements.

Within the runway loop are six themed rooms overseen by the BOSS Techtopia control room. In the HarmoniTech space, yogis find a haven for their discipline amidst the fast-paced corporate world. In the Brainstorm room, "employees" wear light therapy headphones to spark collective creative energy. Two further rooms serve as harmonious, plant-filled meeting rooms. The Aromasinus Laboratory, a space dedicated to olfactory discovery, celebrated the classic BOSS fragrance, BOSS BOTTLED Eau de Toilette, and also offered a taste of the latest creation, BOSS Bottled Elixir.

"The BOSS Autumn/Winter 2023 collection evolves the brand's heritage in tailoring. We embraced the creative challenge of reimagining a look that's typically unconventional – traditional executive office wear – into something new, exciting and representative of the multifaceted BOSS of today. It celebrates the suit as a tool for empowerment, confidence and individuality – values that drive our core message, 'Be Your Own BOSS,'" says Marco Falcioni, Senior Vice President of Creative Direction at HUGO BOSS.

Named "CorpCore," this new collection by Falcioni redefines traditional office wear with a contemporary take on men's and women's wardrobe staples, from blazers and suits to shirts and pencil skirts. The modern, super-stretch suiting is crafted from BOSS's best-selling performance fabrics in classic prints. A belt cinches the waist to define the boxy cut, while deep slits and a double-way zipper add appeal and versatility to the timeless silhouette.

The collection focuses on a clean, seamless look, with an abundance of crisp, stiff fabrics and sharp silhouettes. Conventional visible buttons and zippers are removed, highlighting BOSS's renowned tailoring expertise. The sophisticated, muted color palette is based on neutrals commonly found in the corporate workplace, from timeless grays and whites to shades of brown and green. Black, a staple of the BOSS collection, also features prominently on pieces featuring the brand's iconic B monogram pattern.

For accessories, office essentials like paperclips, pens and folders are reimagined in unexpected ways, while details like the number lock on a briefcase make a statement on bags and shoes.
