On September 22nd at 10pm (Japan time), Sabato de Sarno, the new creative director of Gucci, held his first show, "SPRING SUMMER 2024 WOMEN'S COLLECTION," at the GUCCI HUB in Milan.

Sabato De Sarno Sabato de Sarno (born March 31, 1983) is a native of Cicciano, Naples, southern Italy. After studying science at high school, he moved to Milan to study women's wear design and patternmaking at the prestigious Carlo Secoli Fashion Institute. He began his career in the fashion industry in 2003, joining Prada as an assistant patternmaker. In 2006, he gained experience as an assistant designer at knitwear manufacturer Annapurna, and in 2008, he became head designer of Dolce & Gabbana's women's knitwear and jersey collections. In 2009, he moved to Rome to join Valentino. During his 14 years with the company, he held various positions, and in 2020 he served as Fashion Director, overseeing men's and women's wear. On January 28, 2023, Sabato de Sarno was appointed Creative Director of Gucci.

In his private life, he married Daniele in Brussels, Belgium in 2019. The couple divides their time between Rome, Milan, and Brussels with their beloved dachshund, Luce. Sabato de Sarno is an explorer who loves to travel. He is also an avid collector of contemporary art and vintage fashion, with a focus on rare bags and outerwear.
