Gucci has collaborated with artist Yuko Higuchi on a new special collection exclusively for Japan, which will be available for pre-sale on June 26th at the official Gucci online store.

Since their collaboration in 2018, Gucci and Yuko Higuchi have captivated people not only in Japan but around the world through art projects and limited edition items. Yuko Higuchi's fantastical and poetic works, featuring anthropomorphic animals and mysterious creatures, combine with Gucci's creative spirit to create a poetic and unique aesthetic.

In this new special collection, Yuko Higuchi's cat characters, Bo and Boris, appear on a variety of items. The lineup includes handbags, small leather goods, key charms, hats, silk products and stationery, all featuring the beloved cats, who are believed to bring good fortune. They are perfect for purchasing new items in time for the lucky summer days that occur from July to August, and make ideal gifts as well as collector's pieces.

For handbags, Gucci's signature Gucci Diana bag is available in a medium size in Gucci Rosso Ancora and a small size in pink. Both bags feature the Bo & Boris design, complete with a Gucci look. Wallets include two models: a wallet with a chain strap that can also be used as a mini bag, and a zip-around wallet, as well as matching card cases, each featuring a Bo or Boris charm or design.

Other items available include two new designs of the popular cat key charm that was released in March this year, two baseball caps combining the GG pattern with Bo & Boris, hair bands, silk ribbons, silk scarves (90cm x 90cm), notebooks, and pencil cases.

This collection will be available in advance on the official Gucci online shop from June 26th, and in Gucci shops nationwide from July 3rd. Regardless of where you purchase it, it will come in a specially designed shopper bag featuring Bo & Boris.

In addition, to commemorate the release of the collection, giant Bo & Boris art pieces will be on display at Gucci Namiki, Gucci Shinjuku, Gucci Aoyama, Gucci Roppongi, and the Gucci Leather Goods Shop at Hankyu Umeda Main Store from July 3rd. After the exhibition period ends, the art pieces will be available for sale in limited quantities. Additionally, for a limited time, a cat design will be available as part of the free engraving service at Gucci Namiki, Gucci Ginza, Gucci Aoyama, Gucci Shinjuku, Gucci Roppongi, Sendai Fujisaki Gucci Shop, Yokohama Sogo Gucci Shop, Gucci Nagoya, Gucci Osaka, Shinsaibashi Daimaru Gucci Shop, Kyoto Takashimaya Gucci Shop, Kobe Daimaru Gucci Shop, and the official online shop.
