The Snoopy Museum will be holding "Valentine's Week" from January 17th to February 14th.

In Japan, Valentine's Day is traditionally celebrated by women giving chocolate to men. However, in the United States, home to the Charles M. Schulz Museum, which boasts the world's largest collection of original "Peanuts" artwork, it is customary for both men and women to express their feelings by exchanging letters and presents on this day. The "Peanuts" comics also feature many Valentine's Day episodes, featuring the classic image of Charlie Brown, who receives no letters from anyone, contrasted with the popular Snoopy.

In keeping with American customs, this "Valentine's Week" will feature a number of events based on the concept of "letters." From 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, a short Valentine's Day-themed animation will be screened on the LED screen panel on the premises. The animation depicts Charlie Brown waiting in front of a mailbox while the Peanuts characters exchange letters. Will Charlie Brown's letter actually arrive? A new photo spot will feature Snoopy, who has received many letters on Valentine's Day. Colorful hearts will also be displayed throughout the museum. Visitors will also receive a special Valentine's Day card featuring Snoopy and heart designs. They can write a message and send it to a loved one, friend, family, or anyone they want to express their feelings to. The museum shop, "BROWN'S STORE," will also be decked out in heart-themed Valentine's Day mode. Valentine's Day merchandise, such as "Valentine's Day Icing Cookies" (two varieties, ¥500 each) and "Marble Chocolate in an Envelope-Shaped Felt Pouch" (¥1,000), will also be available. The museum cafe, "Cafe Blanket," will also offer Valentine's Day-exclusive sweets and drinks. The "Heart Chocolate Valentine Pancakes" (¥1,280) are inspired by the Valentine's Day cards featured in "Peanuts" episodes and the bittersweet, unrequited love of the Peanuts gang. They are topped with a sweet and sour cheese cream and cranberry cream and heart chocolate. "Sweet Marshmallow Chocolate" (880 yen) will also be available, which is sweet hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and heart-shaped chocolate.
