Starting May 6, 2020, PAPABUBBLE, the "world's most interesting candy store," will be releasing bee and honey-themed products in celebration of World Bee Day, a global initiative to protect bees and other wildlife.

According to Achim Steiner of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), "of the 100 crop species that account for 90% of the world's food, bees pollinate 70% of them." Currently, there are pollinating organisms, including honeybees, that are at risk of extinction. World Bee Day was established as a day to promote their protection.
