Ginger Co., Ltd. opened a banana juice stand called "Thank You Banana" for a limited time from April 21st to August 19th to bring a little happiness to those whose hearts tend to be depressed amidst these anxious days. Located in a back alley just a 15-second walk from Imadegawa Station, they sell rich banana juice made with a simple, healthy recipe for takeout. A cup costs 390 yen (thank you!).

■Banana juice from a production company?
Our main business is producing weddings and events, but there was a reason we decided to start a banana juice stand. Our original shared office base was closed due to the effects of COVID-19, so we decided to move our office to our current location. The alley opposite Doshisha University is usually bustling with local residents and students, but right now it's very quiet.
"These anxious days make me feel depressed, don't they?"
"We want to do something happy, in our own way."
"Why not open a shop selling banana juice, the CEO's favorite?"
"Wouldn't it be great if there was a banana juice shop in the neighborhood?"
And so, from this trivial conversation, the office bay window was remodeled, and a banana juice shop was born.
"Thank You Bananas" - "Bring a little happiness to your heart."

■The Thank You recipe.
We use simple, high-quality ingredients to create a drink you won't get tired of even if you drink it every day. We also don't use sugar.
Bananas are rich in ingredients that produce serotonin, a hormone that makes us feel happy, while milk apparently relieves frustration and brings a sense of security. Who knew it was a happy drink, scientifically speaking... If Thank You Bananas can bring a little happiness to people, we'll be happy too.

■Thank you everyone.
In the few days since we opened, the streets have been sparse, but customers have come by. Delivery people, convenience store clerks, greengrocers, clinic staff, security guards, parents and children out for walks, and dogs. We've met everyone who is supporting the world and families during these difficult times. We say "thank you" with heartfelt gratitude.

What we at Ginger can do is very small, but with our motto of "weaving rich hearts," we hope to be a company that warms people's hearts. We hope that a little happiness will reach the hearts of passersby. Once we've gotten through this period, we hope everyone who is protecting the world by staying at home will come and visit us!
