
Cat's ISSUE, a project that brings together cat-loving creators, will open a pop-up shop at Laforet Harajuku from February 20th to 26th.
Cat's ISSUE has previously held exhibitions and published a cat newspaper, The Cat's Whiskers, with the aim of spreading their "obsession" with cats. The newly opened store will sell items in collaboration with various brands. simmon will offer limited edition cat-shaped jewelry, while Gizmobies will offer original iPhone cases printed with close-up images of cats. THE WALLPAPER TOKYO will offer peel-and-stick wallpaper featuring a variety of cats. In addition, under the title "Dream Cat Print Project," a service will be offered to create an all-over cat print using photos of your beloved cat. Customers can also order original items using the completed print. There will also be an "Atelier Kiji" custom order shop where customers can order cushions and accessories featuring photos of their beloved cats. Furthermore, as part of an animal welfare support initiative, the central staircase on the first floor will display original scratching cases developed by the project. These are one-of-a-kind pieces with original paintings by various artists, and will also be available for purchase at the venue. Participating artists include Anko (ancco), Ishiguro Ayako, Higuchi Yuko, and Nunokawa Aiko. The second installment of "A TINY SEAL SHOP" will feature a total of 60 cat sticker items, including the latest 30 designs. These include the popular cat photo series as well as illustration series featuring illustrators such as WisutPonnimit, Takagi Koichiro, and mimoe.
