This iconic top-handle style is versatile and features a captivating snakehead closure at its center, reinvented by Mary Katrantzou for her first collaboration with Bvlgari. Meanwhile, the structured bag body offers a new body to inspire the designer's creative vision. Nicknamed the "Queen of Prints" for her rich, poetic, maximalist creations, this haute couture collection is enhanced by the exquisite workmanship of the Paris-based Atelier Montex.

With its tree motif symbolizing personal growth, individuality and an emblem of beauty, the Serpenti Tree of Life bag serves as a beautiful metaphor for Bvlgari's unparalleled aesthetic and source of inspiration. In an unusual, surrealist composition, Bvlgari High Jewelry pieces spill like precious fruit from the Tree of Life, while the dazzling tree trunk and branches evoke the diamond-encrusted body of the Serpenti jewelry. Decorated with over 1,400 glass beads, 300 crystal beads, and 410 glass tubes, the bag is a marriage of jewelry inspiration, leather goods artistry, and haute couture savoir-faire, taking approximately 100 hours to complete.

The Serpenti Midnight Garden of Eden bag evokes the enchanting nocturnal imagery of Bvlgari's Garden of Wonders, with its beautiful contrast between its black background and vibrant embroidery. A timeless symbol of beauty and sophistication, the stunning peacock takes center stage, surrounded by a dazzling array of colorful flowers, evoking the diva's dream creations that pay homage to the mythical bird.

The bag took 60 hours of expert craftsmanship to complete, featuring approximately 1,500 glass beads, glass tubes, crystal stones and sequins, all meticulously sewn and fastened by hand. The collection will be available in select Bvlgari boutiques worldwide from May 2023.

Inspired by the lush, enchanting landscapes seen on the artistic dials of Bvlgari's watch collections, Il Giardino Tropicale, Il Giardino Paradiso, and Il Giardino Notturno, the Serpenti Tropical Garden of Eden bag evokes the magic, mystery, and captivating beauty of the Garden of Wonders. Colorful birds flit from palm tree to palm tree, and glittering flowers reminiscent of Bvlgari's floral jewelry bloom in abundance in the lush garden. The sky in the background changes from light blue to blue, expressing the magical moment when day turns to night. More than 1,800 decorative parts are carefully hand-sewn onto the bag body, making this a masterpiece that took 105 hours to complete.
