Rihanna and Sarah J. Parker create one-of-a-kind Fendi "Tre Baguettes"

Feb 20, 2015

To celebrate the grand opening of its New York Madison Avenue flagship store, FENDI launched the "3BAGUETTE PROJECT," a charity project in collaboration with five New York celebrities. The five participants in this project - actress Sarah Jessica Parker, musician Rihanna, artist Rachel Feinstein, model Jourdan Dunn, and popular blogger Leandra Medine - each put their own unique interpretation on the brand's new "3BAGUETTE" bag, bringing their own creative ideas to life. The completed bags will be auctioned, with the proceeds going to charities that each participant is passionate about.

This latest reinterpretation of the "Tré Baguette" is a modern reinterpretation of the "Bucket" bag that the brand introduced in its Resort 2015 collection. While retaining the iconic shape of the original, it has a more stylish and structured finish. One of the most distinctive features is the buckle, which has been evolved to be thinner and more sophisticated. When you turn it to open the bag, it breaks down into small strands that scatter, and then returns to its original shape when you close it.

The auction will take place from February 13th to 23rd on a dedicated auction site. The bag will also be on display at the Madison Avenue store during the auction period.
