Fendi's monster "Bag Bugs" collection celebrates Chinese New Year with a red collection

Dec 16, 2014

FENDI will release a red-colored capsule collection in February to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The collection is inspired by the monster-themed Bag Bugs.

The Peekaboo (615,000 yen), in which Bag Bugs' eyes peek out from the inside of Fendi's popular iconic bag, and the mini-sized Mini Peekaboo (426,000 yen) are made of festive red plain leather with a light pink lining, and the eyes are made of silver python and black crystals. Also available is the Mini Peekaboo (1,196,000 yen), made of luxurious red ostrich leather. This one has a red body, fuchsia pink leather handles, and a long strap.

In addition, two new bag charms have been added: "Furry Cracker" and "Fur Yang" (106,000 yen each), made of red and pink silver fox fur with lapin and mink fur and crystal eyes. A red and pink fur pompom bag charm (43,000 yen) will also be released.

From the men's collection, a vibrant red jersey T-shirt (41,000 yen) will be released. It features a sheep motif, the zodiac sign for 2015, made from washable leather and adorned with small studs.

It will be available at Fendi Matsuya Ginza and other Fendi stores around the world.
