DIORAMA, born from the Dior Spring/Summer 2015 runway, features an exclusive piece (H11.5 x W18 x D4cm / 440,000 yen / Isetan Shinjuku store exclusive) featuring an abundance of Dior's signature codes. Crafted from calfskin, the classic form is adorned with gorgeous, illuminated decorations. Details like 18th-century decorative tapestries and wallpapers are given a modern interpretation using heat printing. This is the first time Dior has used the decorative techniques used on ancient books on leather. The contrast between the delicately scattered icons—the CD logo, flowers, and couture stitching—and the voluminous chain strap creates a sophisticated look. The adjustable strap allows for cross-body wear. Each chain is engraved with the word CD, showcasing the Dior code in every detail.
