A limited-time pop-up shop, a collaboration between internationally acclaimed illustrator SHOGO SEKINE and LE CIEL BLEU, opened on February 25th at Center Park/The Stage #2 on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. It will run until March 3rd. The shop links the "Flower Festival" currently being held at Isetan Mitsukoshi with SEKINE's signature humorous illustrations. Based on the theme of "FASHION MARCHE," which celebrates the arrival of spring through colorful fashion and art, the interior is designed to resemble a lively market. The space, decorated in pale pink and gray, features an anemone flower motif. Illustrations of girls wearing collaborative items by SEKINE and empowering messages are displayed throughout the shop. To commemorate this collaboration, a leather rider's jacket (priced at 100,000 yen) will be sold in limited quantities in two colors: pink and black. SEKINE has hand-painted an original illustration or message on the back. Each item is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind item. Also available for sale will be original stickers featuring an anemone illustration by SEKINE, created specifically for this event. Sweatshirts featuring this illustration will be available exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi, and come in three styles: a pullover (21,000 yen), a skirt (31,000 yen), and a T-shirt (12,000 yen). SEKINE will be visiting the store on the 28th to perform a live painting installation. Customers who purchase collaboration items will also receive a free postcard with an empowering message from SEKINE, on a first-come, first-served basis.
