Louis Vuitton has added a new fragrance to its fragrance collection, "Heures d'Absence," which will be available at select Louis Vuitton stores and on the Louis Vuitton official website from February 27th.

"Heure d'Apsence," meaning "leisure time," was released as the Maison's first fragrance in 1927. This fragrance has been revived after nearly a century and is now being released.

As the fragrance's manufacturing method and recipe no longer exist, the Maison's in-house Master Perfumer, Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, created a new fragrance based on his own imagination. Inspired by the name, the fragrance was created to embodi the soul of flowers, filled with plenty of fresh flowers.

The fragrance begins with a vibrant floral note. The opalescent white of Grasse jasmine is complemented by Chinese jasmine sambac and May rose. This timeless combination is enhanced by Tanneron mimosa, which paints the Provençal hills a vibrant yellow at the end of winter, and staccato notes of raspberry.

The warmth of vanilla from Peru balsam adds a touch of refinement, and finally, a touch of Sri Lankan sandalwood and musk complete the powdery floral nuances, enveloping them sensually for a magnificent floral finale.

The Eau de Parfum is available in two sizes: 100ml (32,000 yen) and 200ml (45,000 yen). The lineup also includes a 7.5ml x 4 bottles travel spray (32,000 yen) and a travel spray refill (17,000 yen). Both will be available from February 27th at select Louis Vuitton stores and on the official website (louisvuitton.com).
