WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY is a restaurant based on the concept of "Learn about the world through breakfast," where you can enjoy breakfast from different countries around the world, changing the country every two months. From February 19th to April 19th, they will be featuring Russian breakfast. In addition, a new store will open in Kichijoji, Tokyo on February 22nd. The Kichijoji store will also be running a similar special feature from the opening day.

"Russian Breakfast" (1,500 yen)

Russia is the world's largest country in terms of area. Much of the country is cold, and harvesting crops and harvest periods are limited, so cuisine often uses grains, dairy products, and potatoes. Russian cuisine has its roots in the food culture of peasants who lived in a harsh climate. To survive the long winters, the custom of pickling various vegetables and preserving fruit into jam is deeply rooted.

The star of this "Russian Breakfast" offering is "blini," a Russian-style crepe with a chewy dough. It is typically eaten with smetana (a dairy product similar to sour cream) and salmon roe. The breakfast will also be served on a single plate, accompanied by buckwheat porridge, beetroot and potato salad, and tvorog (cottage cheese) with varenye (candied fruit).

In addition, there are many other classic Russian dishes on the menu, such as borsch, one of the world's three great soups, Russian tea served with jam, and syrniki (Russian-style pancakes).
