Burberry's new street-level store, "Burberry Ginza," opened on November 17th.

The new store, relocated to the same Marronnier Street as the old Ginza Marronnier Street store, boasts approximately three times the floor space of the previous store and features pistachio-colored exterior walls. The beige and pistachio-colored interior, inspired by trench coats, is spread across three floors, featuring fixtures with various textures, including mirrors and glossy materials. This will be the first street-level store in Japan to be created from scratch under a new concept by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci.

To commemorate the opening, a number of limited-edition products will be released, including exclusive looks from the Spring/Summer 2020 pre-collection and a limited edition model of the iconic "LOLA" bag. A limited-edition silk scarf (¥52,000) in the same pistachio color as the exterior will also be available.

In addition, to celebrate the opening of the Ginza store, AR content is being implemented for enjoyment in the Ginza area. During November, by scanning the QR code on Burberry outdoor advertisements scattered around Ginza with your smartphone, the LINE app will launch, and a different original Burberry character will appear depending on the location, allowing you to take photos with the Ginza cityscape as a backdrop. Additionally, if you share a photo you took on social media between November 17th and 30th, you will receive a limited number of original Ginza store stickers.
The opening party was held on November 15th, and was attended by many guests including Rola, Fukushi Rina, Fukushima Rila, Suzuki Emi, and Hatakeyama Chiaki.
