The Isetan Mitsukoshi Group will be launching its "Christmas Campaign 2019" on November 13th, offering wishes for a wonderful future and a merry Christmas. Experience-based content will be available through the app and in-store.


Based on the keyword "MERRY FUTURE," which also conveys a sense of foreboding, the campaign is set in a magical Christmas village, where the future blends with nostalgia, as depicted by French illustrator Gérard DuBois. A variety of interactive content combining the real and digital worlds will be offered.

Convey your feelings with Christmas Movie Cards

The "Christmas Movie Card" service, launched on December 4th, is digital content available through the Isetan Mitsukoshi app. Transform yourself, your family, or your pets into Christmas Village characters and send heartwarming messages accompanied by story-telling videos and selected classical music.

Classical Music to Illuminate the Holy Night

We're also collaborating with Universal Music's "100 Classical Albums" series. Enjoy songs to accompany "Christmas Movie Cards" and a Christmas playlist by conductor Aoi Mizuno. A classical concert will also be held on the rooftop garden of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi. Aoi Mizuno will be the first classical DJ to host a digital classical concert, proposing a new way to enjoy classical music.

Gift wrapping service to lift your spirits

During the event, stores will also be offering a gift wrapping service featuring ornament-shaped Christmas cards featuring Santa Claus and Christmas trees, as well as wooden bag charms featuring teddy bears and snowmen.
