UHA Mikakuto released the "Mikakuto Throat Lozenges Candy Candy" on March 2nd, a collaboration with Andy Warhol, one of the most iconic 20th-century artists. This marks the first time Warhol has collaborated with confectionery in Japan. The packaging of the company's tablet-type throat lozenges, "Mikakuto Throat Lozenges Candy," features 30 carefully selected artworks from Warhol's vast collection. The artworks feature animals such as cats and cows, as well as various people, colorful flowers, and lips, all depicted in innovative colors. Warhol is one of the most important visual artists of the 20th century. After achieving success in commercial design in the 1950s, he became active as an artist. He brought a new approach to the world of art production, breaking away from the traditional standards of Western art by using mass-production techniques such as silkscreen printing. His work continues to influence contemporary culture around the world, including fashion, music, advertising, and art.
