To celebrate the launch of their limited-edition collection, "STREET ESSENCE 'RMK x BRADLEY THEODORE'," which will be available at Isetan Shinjuku on February 18th, cosmetics brand RMK will hold a special event at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
"STREET ESSENCE 'RMK x BRADLEY THEODORE'" is a must-see collection this spring, created in collaboration between RMK and cutting-edge New York artist Bradley Theodore.
The special event, which will be held at Isetan Shinjuku from February 18th, the day of the pre-release, will feature exclusive content that can only be experienced here, such as a special talk show featuring fashion model Kozue Akimoto, a live painting session by Theodore himself, and a makeup lesson by RMK's exclusive makeup artist (reservation required).
One of the highlights will be a double makeup show featuring RMK's creative director KAORI and an RMK exclusive makeup artist, held for two days only on February 20th and 21st. RMK's theme is to bring out the beauty of each individual through makeup and bring happiness to women's daily lives. At this makeup show, Kaori, who has been working on RMK's creations since July 2013, and RMK's in-house makeup artists will appear on stage twice a day to propose spring makeup trends using "STREET ESSENCE" items. Demonstrations using a limited-edition collection of practical products with meticulous color and texture calculations will be held, offering a chance to see professional techniques not normally seen up close. Admission is free on both days, and no reservations are required, so be sure to check it out.
Novelty gifts will also be available during the event. Depending on the amount of your purchase, you will receive a free "RMK Original Cotton Bag" printed with an original illustration symbolizing "STREET ESSENCE," which Theodore drew with Japanese women in mind, and a clean, stylish, and easy-to-use "RMK Original Cosmetic Box."
