Cosmetics brand RMK has collaborated with New York-based artist Bradley Theodore to create a limited-edition collection, "STREET ESSENCE 'RMK x BRADLEY THEODORE,'" which will be released at Isetan Shinjuku on February 18th and exclusively at the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group from March 4th. Both collections will be limited in quantity.

After studying at the School of Visual Arts, which also produced Keith Haring, Theodore worked at Apple and a record company before embarking on a full-time artistic career in 2005. His depictions of fashion icons like Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld have been widely featured in the media. This collection, inspired by Theodore's street art, features a lineup of vibrant, fresh colors that evoke the current state of New York.

A highlight item is the "RMK Collaboration Palette 2015" (9,500 yen), featuring a specially commissioned illustration by Theodore. The top tier of this two-tiered palette contains four eyeshadows, a blush, a gloss, and mascara, while the bottom tier contains the new RMK Casual Solid Foundation, due for release in March. This special limited-edition palette lets you get a sneak peek at spring's trendy makeup.

The RMK Makeup Palette 2015 (two types, 4,500 yen each) is a simple yet useful palette containing two eyeshadows and one blush. The RMK Makeup Palette 2015 A features two eyeshadows in pure silver and matte black that stylishly color the eyes, along with an innocent pink blush that adds a translucent, pure nuance to the cheeks. The RMK Makeup Palette 2015 B features an orange and matte gray-brown eyeshadow that blends well with the skin, and a healthy beige blush that can also be used for shading. "RMK Irresistible Lips B" (1 new color, 3,000 yen), which lightly colors lips with clear color, now comes in a new color: Glitter Red, which sparkles beautifully with large glitter particles. It glides on smoothly and fits lightly. "RMK Irresistible Lips M" (2 new colors, 3,000 yen each), which has a creamy, smooth finish that melts into the lips, now comes in a bright sheer red and a deep, subdued strong red.

Furthermore, "RMK Gloss Lips N" (2 new colors, 2,200 yen each) comes in two limited-edition colors: a sexy orange satin red and a juicy red sprinkled with transparent glitter. It creates lips with a gel-like, plump texture. Also in the lineup is the limited edition red nail color "RMK Nail Color EX" (three new colors, 1,500 yen each), which comes in different textures and colors. The three colors are a subtle clear red, a deep red that flatters the skin, and a sexy bright red that catches the eye. These nail colors have a sophisticated, crystal-like luster and are quick-drying.

In addition, an event to commemorate the release of "STREET ESSENCE" will be held at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku from February 18th to 23rd. The event will feature a makeup show by creative director KAORI, a special talk show with popular fashion model Kozue Akimoto, and a makeup lesson (reservation required) by an RMK makeup artist.
