Hublot unveiled its latest creation, the MP-13 Tourbillon Bi-Axis Retrograde, at the ongoing Watches & Wonders 2023 exhibition. This unique model combines two complications in one watch: a biaxial tourbillon and a dual retrograde display.

Hublot is one of the few watchmakers to fully craft the exceptionally sophisticated biaxial tourbillon. This tourbillon features two speeds within the same mechanism: one rotation per minute on the first axis and one rotation every 30 seconds on the second axis. Furthermore, its structural design achieves a floating sensation unlike any other tourbillon. By eliminating the upper bridge and stripping away each component, light transmission is unimpeded. To further enhance the visual impact, the space surrounding the tourbillon at 6 o'clock has been opened up, and both sides of the case are protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The MP-13 Tourbillon Bi-Axis Retrograde has a power reserve of approximately 96 hours (approximately 4 days). Another distinctive feature is that the minute hand moves steadily, while the hour hand skips from one hour to the next instantly, making the dial easier to read. This is the first time Hublot has designed a bi-retrograde movement capable of displaying both hours and minutes.
