Bulgari Bridal Fair: A Love Story Reminiscent of Ancient Rome's "Ear of Wheat"

Feb 24, 2015

BVLGARI will be holding a bridal fair, "Design Your Love," themed "Eternal Promise," at BVLGARI shops nationwide from February 27th to March 31st.

The fair will feature a romantic bridal collection inspired by Italian love stories. One of the items, the "Spiga (Ear of Wheat)" ring collection, is based on the ear of wheat, a symbol of good fortune passed down from ancient Rome. During wedding vows at that time, the bride would hold the groom's hand in her right hand and three ears of wheat in her left hand, pledging eternal love.

In addition, "Design Your Love," which allows customers to semi-customize their own ring by choosing the design and loose diamond, has further expanded its design variations for the fair. Customers who purchase a bridal ring during the fair will receive a free "Bvlgari Il Cioccolato," a jewel-like chocolate.

In addition, internationally renowned paper cutting artist Naoko Kojima will be exhibiting works for a limited time featuring the motif of doves and hearts, symbols of love. These will be romantically displayed in the storefront windows of Bvlgari Ginza Tower, the Osaka flagship store, Umeda Hankyu store, Sapporo Daimaru store, Yokohama Takashimaya store, Ikebukuro Seibu store, and Isetan Shinjuku store, further livening up the fair.
