Bvlgari Chocolate Retrospective, Reproduced Archives on Sale for Limited Time

Jan 16, 2015

The "Bvlgari Il Cioccolato Retrospective" will be held at Bvlgari Ginza Tower from January 17th to February 14th.

In this exhibition, chocolates are likened to jewels and are exhibited under the title "Chocolate Gems." They are handmade daily by chocolatiers in the Bvlgari Ginza Tower workshop. A total of 100 chocolates from the original "Bvlgari Il Cioccolato" flavor archives have been reproduced for this exhibition. Visitors can learn about the brand's history by tracing the story embedded in each chocolate, such as the white truffle and chestnut combination that was popular in Italy.

In addition, under the supervision of chocolate expert Mika Ogura, the exhibition is divided into five areas. Visitors can rediscover the history of chocolate and food culture through the categories of "A Profusion of Flowers," "Gianduja," "Ingredients Related to Italian Food Culture," "Japanese," and "Limited Chocolate Gems & Box."

Bvlgari Il Cioccolato is a chocolate workshop that opened in 2007 to coincide with the opening of "Bvlgari Il Café" in Omotesando. It also sells its products at "Il Bar" inside the Bvlgari Ginza Tower, and "Lui e Lei," which was launched in 2008, has become a popular Valentine's Day staple. 20 varieties of chocolates on display will be on sale for a limited time until January 31st.
